Simon Says Stamp Beautiful Flowers + Heat Embossing on Patterned Paper

Simon Says Stamp Beautiful Flowers + Heat Embossing on Patterned Paper

Hi friends, I hope you do keep your patience with me as I continue to play with Simon Says Stamp Beautiful Flowers stamp set. Today I gold heat embossed it on a pink-teal patterned paper for a pretty, girly look.

As you can tell, I used a single patterned paper from ModaScrap and heat embossed the entire large floral image using Simon Says Stamp Fine Gold powder. I cut out one panel and foam mounted it on one white card base. I kept the front panel narrower than then inside panel. On the front panel, I lined up a thin strip of gold textured cardstock and also a little broader strip of black and white strip of patterned paper. On the inside, I lined up another strip of gold textured paper

I had a large enough piece left over from this heat embossed paper. I die cut a border using stitched scalloped border die by Simon Says Stamp. Instead of foam mounting this directly on my card base, I mounted it on one more white panel – I had created this panel for some other project and ended up not using it. I had die cut this using the largest stitched rectangle and then dry embossed on top using one of the stencils from Echo Park. I added just a hint of Peony Pink Tonic Nuvo Mousse. In pictures you can barely see it, but it adds a soft shimmer and color to this panel.

After mounting the white panel on Simon Says Stamp Doll Pink, I attached one more plain white stitched rectangle panel on the inside for writing a message. I also used the last flower leftover from my heat embossed patterned paper and added it to the inside of this card for some extra interest.

Once both my cards and their front + inside panels were set, I added a few sequins and a few confetti butterflies to embellish these cards.
