Spellbinders | Kits of the month | Getting more out of dies

Hi friends, I have a little bit of die cutting fun for you guys. I combined the dies from Spellbinders card kit and small die of the month kit for June 2018.

The small die of the month came with a cupcake die. I used the base of that cupcake to make a flower basket :-) I did die cut as well as dry emboss it using the same die.

For the handle of the basket I used the flower stem from Simon Says Stamp More Spring Flowers. I bent it and used my MISTI to stamp it in place with Artprint Brown ink from Hero Arts. I also used the same ink and MISTI to stamp the sentiment “You are loved” – this sentiment is from Simon Says Stamp Brush Stroke Messages stamp set.

I added lots of flowers and leaves which I die cut using several different papers from paper-garden.ca. I used several flower and leaf dies from the card kit as well as the ones that came in small die of the month kit – for lining the cupcake.

I finished the flower basket by adding some enamel dots to the flower centers, a confetti butterfly and a twine bow at the top.

Love how it turned out.
