Spellbinders | Card kit of the month | Layering paper shapes

Hi friends, hope life is treating to well. Today I have one more floral card to share with you. I used the dies from Spellbinders card kit of the month for June 2018 for this card along with papers from the card kit (gold) as well as some papers from paper-garden.ca.

I started by using a stitched rectangle with a slanted edge. This paper is from one of Spellbinders’ older card kits and the die is from Simon Says Stamp. I had made this panel ready for some other project, but ended up not using it, which was a #happyAccident for this card. :-)

Next I simply created a floral cluster around the delicate gold die cut heart on one side and on the other side, I stamped ‘hello friend’ sentiment using Studio G blue ink. Adding a few sequins to the flower centers and this card was done. Easy, don’t you think?

Wherever available, I have used affiliate links, which means when you make a purchase, I receive a small commission (at no extra cost to you) which I use to run this blog. I truly appreciate your support!

Hugs!
