Hi friends, in the middle of our series for Spellbinders card kit cards, I do have something slightly different – a few fun cards with supplies from Pretty Pink Posh and Hello Bluebird stamps. Today’s card is made using Pretty Pink Posh stamps and dies.
I started by taking a black card base and dry embossing the front of it with Blistered embossing folder from Spellbinders. Then I did some die cutting – a white panel using Memory Box Wrapped Stitch rectangle and a gold mirrored hexagon using a scallop hexagon die from Pretty Pink Posh (all supplies listed and linked below). I also used the outer edge of the same hexagon die to mark lines on a patterned paper and cut out a blue-white striped hexagon.
Once all the base pieces were ready, I stamped, colored and die cut several more imagesfrom Pretty Pink Posh Holiday Pals stamp set – a penguin, a gift and some greenery. I used Momento Tuxedo Blank ink for stamping and colored using Spectrum Noir alcohol markers for the yellow part and Prismacolor fine line marker in black color.
In my MISTI I arranged all these elements as I wanted them and stamped my sentiments (both from the same Holiday Pals stamp set) using Momento Tuxedo Black ink and Simon Says Stamp Island Blue ink. Lastly I adhered all my elements, added a flower sticker on top of the greenery, a glitter gold washi tape on one side of my card and sprinkled a couple gold gems (also from Pretty Pink Posh). Done. :-)
I am running a giveaway on Instagram this month. I am so grateful for all the love and support I’ve received from this community and I do want to pass on a little bit of love :-) Do check out my Instagram profile for a chance to win $20 gift card to Simon Says Stamp.
