Ink squishing – when you don’t want to do detailed coloring

Today, I want to stand on top of a building that “my crafty friends are the best!”. My friends from Instagram – Subhashini and Chandhini – are amazing – they are so good at crafting. Archival ink is waterproof, I knew I wanted to add watercolor / distress ink with water on top, so I used this ink. For good measure, I let it sit and dry completely (for about 5-10 mins) before doing anything else. When …

Cards using Wplus9 Kind Soul

WPlus 9 - Kind Soul - Orange and Yellow Colors

Hi friends, today we are continuing the spirit of crafting with three more cards. Focal point for all these was made with the same stamp set – Wplus9 Kind Soul. I only used a couple other stamps for sentiments. I started by die cutting three Bristol watercolor paper panels using SSS stitched rectangle dies. Next, I took a piece of packaging material and added several different inks on top, sprayed it with water using mini mister and then squished it on top of each watercolor panel. The water itself moved the inks / paints around and gave some cool effects. …
