You Are Loved – stamped and colored card

Hi guys, I am hoping you all are staying safe. Not panicking. Acting with hope, strength and grace. Yes, there is a lot of chaos and uncertainty right now in the world, but we crafters have a way to find and spread sunshine wherever we go. We have a way of making people feel that they belong, that they are not alone and that they are loved. Let’s use that superpower because this is the time when the world needs it most. For today’s card, I used a panel that was the same size as an A7 card front (5×7). …

A spring themed shadow box using Spellbinders Small Die of the Month March 2020

Welcome back, dear friends! Today is project number 4 in a series of 5 projects where I am experimenting with using die cut felt on paper crafts. And just for giggles, I wanted to include at least one home decor project in addition to all the cards. {You can check out previous projects here, here and here.} Today, I made more bunnies – all spring colored ones for an adorable shadow box: Lots of different things going on with this one, so I am going to explain in bullet points {because helps me organize my thoughts :) }. I started …

Hi guys, if you have been here long enough, you know I like to use paper crafting / card making supplies to make other things too and today is just one more such post :) Yes, I did make a card but I also made two little backpack keychains – and all of these with cute little rainbows :) I have been seeing several of these little rainbow wall hangings like this cute one below from The Heartfelt Creative on Etsy: And this is what inspired me for today’s crafting session. 3-D Flower bouquet using Spellbinders Amazing Paper Grace Die of the Month – Jan 2020

Hi friends, I have a 3-d project to share with you today. I have said this several times before Becca Feeken from Amazing Paper Grace is a genius of die making. I love her dies and these vignettes just take things to next level. Let me be honest here, I was intimidated at first. For one reason or another, I have always ended up using the vignette dies in a 2d project – mainly cards. But one of my goals for 2020 is to stretch myself, overcome my intimidations and be fearless in crafting. That is why you will see …

Spellbinders | Combining die kits

Hi friends, ready for one more floral card using die cut shapes? For this one, I combined a couple different dies from different month kits – but all from Spellbinders. And yes, all papers are from paper-garden.ca. Just die cut, layer and add sequins. Quite straightforward, really. These dies / kits are still available as of writing this post, so I am linking to the actual ones below in addition to the subscription products for your convenience. The sentiment is from an older (discontinued) stamp set from Clearly Besotted. But I am sure several different sentiments can work here and …

Spellbinders | Kits of the month | Getting more out of dies

Hi friends, I have a little bit of die cutting fun for you guys. I combined the dies from Spellbinders card kit and small die of the month kit for June 2018. The small die of the month came with a cupcake die. I used the base of that cupcake to make a flower basket :-) I did die cut as well as dry emboss it using the same die. For the handle of the basket I used the flower stem from Simon Says Stamp More Spring Flowers. I bent it and used my MISTI to stamp it in place …

Celebrate card with SSS Forget Me Not Trio - 2

Hello friends, it is day 7 of the Stamptember / Coloring challenge / 30-day-inspiration marathon here at VaradaSharma.com. I hope you are having fun and are participating in the giveaway. Today’s card uses one of my favorite sets from Simon Says Stamp – the Forget Me Not trio. This has a stamp set, a matching die set and also another set of dies that coordinate perfectly. I am a big fan of the delicate leaves. For this card’s color scheme, I was inspired by this pin from Pinterest: To start, I blended these three Hero Arts inks onto a stitched …
