Altenew Build-a-flower Larkspur – Watercolored

Hi friends, I am playing with the Altenew Larkspur stamp set again – this time with my favorite mediums – water colors. I am not a watercolor expert at all, but I love to play with them. For this card, I heat embossed a couple flowers and several leaves to create a floral cluster. Having heat embossed lines makes it so much easy to watercolor as you don’t need to worry about going outside the lines etc. The melted embossing powder forms a ‘well’ to hold the color in it. Adding subtle shimmer to cards with sparkle pen

Today I have a cool little quick tip for you guys. Remember the times in school, when we had to color flowers? I used to love going back to a watercolored image and add lines with markers. That’s what I did with each of the cards today. Only, instead of colored markers or pencils, I used a stardust sparkle pen by Sakura.
