My Favorite Things is having a contest for Card Design Superstar and here is my entry for it. I made a double shaker – a shaker within a shaker. :-) This took a bit of engineering / science along with some art, but once you get the concept, it is really easy to put together. Hello friends, it is the 16th which means a brand new tic-tac-toe challenge on Stamping Smiles Designs blog. I picked the right most vertical row and made a card for a teacher that has texture and ink blending. I started by adding some light ink blending using mermaid lagoon and cracked pistachio distress inks on my card front. I also used my Darice brick wall embossing folder to add texture on it. Hey, it’s 16th and that means a fun new tic-tac-toe challenge at Stamping Smiles Design. This time the grid is: And here’s the photo for the photo inspiration: I went with the bottom row – clothespin + birthday + patterned paper and made this one: I used patterned paper from the Echo Park Spring paper pack to make the tag and the banner. Best Teacher Ever – birthday card for teacher

Hi crafty friends! :-)  I have been keeping myself busy creating a little something every day this past week in spirit of the 30-day-coloring-challenge. I’m still making cards out of all the coloring I did, so those will come later.
