Hello friends, it is the 16th which means a brand new tic-tac-toe challenge on Stamping Smiles Designs blog. I picked the right most vertical row and made a card for a teacher that has texture and ink blending. I started by adding some light ink blending using mermaid lagoon and cracked pistachio distress inks on my card front. I also used my Darice brick wall embossing folder to add texture on it. Double masking technique

Thanks card using double masking technique

Hi friends, I have a Thanks card to share with you today. For creating this one, I used double masking technique shown by one of my favorite crafters – Kristina Werner.  This was my first attempt at something like this. I used normal printer paper with some temporary adhesive on the back for my first mask and I believe that is why some of the (second) liquid mask seepedn through. It made my sentiment not as crisp as I’d have liked it to be.
