Ink squishing – when you don’t want to do detailed coloring

Today, I want to stand on top of a building that “my crafty friends are the best!”. My friends from Instagram – Subhashini and Chandhini – are amazing – they are so good at crafting. You should check out their feed – on Instagram they go by @crafty_sistahs. They won a giveaway from Unity Stamp company and because of the chaos with shipping asked them to deliver their prize here at my house. AND they let me use the stamps for crafting before I can take it to them when I visit India next time. What did I say? My …

Happy Celebrations – Spellbinders – LDOM April 2020

Hi guys, how are you all doing? We are doing the best we can and seriously taking full advantage of the slow down to connect with each other, engage in meaningful conversations and as my younger one likes to call it, “get to know each other all over again”. I am ready to go back to office, but I am definitely not complaining about getting to stay safe at home during this time (and neither are Mr C and kids, btw). I am so grateful for my little group of humans + a fur baby in this house :) Today …

Rolled Flowers using Felt with paper crafts

Hi crafty friends, we are at the finish line today – project 5 of 5 for using felt die cuts on paper projects. So far, we made critters (bunnies – here and here), we did a basket and we also did flowers. But we did mostly flat die cuts – single or double layers of felt. I did want to try making something more dimensional. So today, I went ahead and made rolled flowers. I started with die cutting the delicious colors from Benzie Design felt and used my trusted Surebonder detail glue gun to roll and secure these beautiful …

Bunny Birthday Wishes – using Spellbinders Large Die of the Month March 2020

Hi guys, I hope your week is going good so far and that you are ready for another card inspiration :) Last month I tried incorporating Felt in my paper crafting – card making projects and loved the outcome. Encouraged by that, I decided to dive in and make more of those. And this month’s Spellbinders Die Clubs were perfect for these cards, so it was definitely something the universe wanted me to go for {at least that’s what I told myself!}. For today’s card, I made a felt bunny (yes, blush pink!) and set up a little scene around …

So in the in-between time, I decided to put together a card using the latest Amazing Paper Grace die of the month for Feb 2020 from Spellbinders. All the papers I used are from DCWV Rose Quartz 12×12 paper pad – these were on sale at Joann recently and I just couldn’t resist them. …

3-D Flower bouquet using Spellbinders Amazing Paper Grace Die of the Month – Jan 2020

Hi friends, I have a 3-d project to share with you today. I have said this several times before Becca Feeken from Amazing Paper Grace is a genius of die making. I love her dies and these vignettes just take things to next level. Let me be honest here, I was intimidated at first. For one reason or another, I have always ended up using the vignette dies in a 2d project – mainly cards. But one of my goals for 2020 is to stretch myself, overcome my intimidations and be fearless in crafting. That is why you will see …
