I am totally loving the mini slimline card size and today I wanted to experiment with it a bit more. What I came up with was a way to create 3 cards out of one sheet of letter sized cardstock. Yes, I added some sturdy patterned paper to make up for the missing paper on the cardbase.

The most important part is cutting and scoring the paper right. Here's how I did it:

This creates a hinge on one side for each of the mini slimline cards. And you can guess the rest, am I right? I made this hinge a little more interesting, using decorative scissors instead of border dies this time, and then adhered my patterned paper panels.

And the best part is that if you have been making cards for a while you already have most of the supplies on hand with which you can make cards like these.
