Birthday card for my Aquarius daughter – using Spellbinders Celestial Zodiacs glimmer collecti

Hello friends, my younger one’s birthday is in a couple days and I have the perfect card for her. Lately she has been into Zodiacs (I think YouTube influence!) – and is curious about them. I took this opportunity to make a shaker card our little Aquarius :-)

Key Ingredients:

  1. Spellbinders Aquarius Glimmer Hot Foil Plate from Celestial Zodiacs Collection

  2. Spellbinders Fancy Edged Rectangles dies

  3. Fun Stampers Journey – Buzzworthy Collection – Clear Photopolymer Stamps – Sweet as Honey

  4. Judikins Embossable Window Plastic Sheets

  5. Rose Gold Foil

Steps:

  1. Create the shaker

  2. Foil the constellation and the label for Aquarius on Judikins embossable plastic. Die cut it out using one the fancy edged rectangles.

  3. Use the same die to cut out the bottom of the shaker from blue cardstock.

  4. Use the same die + the rectangle inside to create a frame from rose gold mirrored cardstock/patterned paper. I used one of the papers from Rose Quartz pack.

  5. Add sequins and assemble the shaker.

  6. Place the shaker on a cardbase to help decide where to put the additional sentiment for Aquarius and hot foil it using Rose Gold foil color.

  7. Just below this, stamp an additional sentiment from ‘Sweet As Honey’ stamp set. I used the Indigo ink from Hero Arts because it matched the back of my shaker well.

  8. Adhere the shaker in place and enjoy!
