Silhouette stamping with Dancing Florals - quick and easy card

A couple of weeks ago we dropped off our older one to college. On our way home the sky looked breathtakingly beautiful. I did share a quick video of it on Instagram. For today's card, I decided to use that as inspiration for the ink blending on the tag which is my focal point.

Here's the sky I used as inspiration:

Evening sky

I started with ink blending the tag. I used all Concord & 9th inks for this.

I also prepared my A2 card base by dry embossing the card front with the Organic Linen embossing folder from Altenew.

After stamping the wheat image (yes, that's what we are calling it :D), I did a tiny little trick with the leaves which is easier to show than to tell. So here's a quick little video:

This card came together in less than 15 minutes which is always a win in my book. Also if you skip the gems (which this helpless little me had to put on there!), I think this can be a good masculine card.

What do you think? Let me know in the comments below.
