Hello friends, ready for one more idea using the SOTM club from Spellbinders + FSJ? (Here are couple more ideas that I shared earlier.)
Today’s card is special though – it did not turn out as per my first thought, but I absolutely love it. Love the color scheme, love the delicate accents and everything about this project really.

Initially I had imagined this to be all over tone-on-tone with one key image and then have a focal point with another key + wings. But I made a boo-boo towards the bottom while stamping the tone-on-tone keys so decided to cover it up with a patterned paper and then rest everything just became so much better :-) #happyAccident #serendipity
To start this card, I used a top folding card base made of Neenah Desert Storm 80lb cardstock. #loveThisPaper Directly on this cardbase, I stamped one of the key images with Antique Linen Distress ink. Like I said earlier, I made a boo-boo towards the bottom half. So I found a patterned paper from one of the older Spellbinders card kits and added a panel. I also added the rose gold glitter tape to add some separation between the cardbase and my patterned paper panel.

Then I worked on the focal point. I cut out two labels using Spellbinders Labels 50 Nestabilities dies – one from Bristol watercolor paper and another from Vellum. On the label from the watercolor paper, I stamped the wings using Antique Linen ink and another key using Hero Arts brown ink. One quick tip: The wings image is a large stamp and stamping it on the smaller label would be difficult as I would have no good place to place my MISTI magnets. So first I put the larger piece of paper in the MISTI then placed the label die cut back in its place and then stamped the wings.
I used MISTI again with Hero Arts Brown ink to stamp the sentiment on the patterned paper panel after I decided where I wanted the focal point to go. I adhered the focal point labels using some double sided tape and some foam tape and sprinkled some rose gold sequins from Pretty Pink Posh along with some clear sequins. I also added one flat backed gem from Pretty Pink Posh to the center of my main key.

At this point the card was almost done, but I felt like it just needed something extra. So I added a couple pieces of greenery that I cut out of some textured green cardstock from my stash using couple more Spellbinders dies. (Linked in Supplies List below.} Finally, I added Wink of Stella to the wings and called this project done.
