Happy Card Making day my friends! I hope you find lots of reasons to make cards and spread happy thoughts out in the world, sprinkle cheer like confetti :-)
Here’s my card for today.. part of the same good vibes series – this is idea #4. I used the Shapeabilities Lovely Lilac Etched Dies Good Vibes Only collection by Stephanie Low with a dry embossed background.
I started with a black card base and a white panel that is slightly smaller. I dry embossed it with Darice Brick Wall pattern embossing folder.
Then I did a lot of die cutting – I cut out some red and gold leaves from So Very Generous dies (same Good Vibes Only collection). I also cut the outline from Lovely Lilac die from some watercolored cardstock. The inner outline die I cut out of gold foiled cardstock. Over the outline watercolor cardstock I added distress ink colors – mustard seed and festive berries.
I stamped my sentiment – ‘sending love your way’ on a thin stripe of matching white cardstock using black archival ink. On one end I gave a slanting cut and went all over the sides with festive berries.
After arranging everything over the brick wall dry embossed with some liquid glue and some foam squares, I added several individual pieces of Martha Stewart chunky glitter in tourmaline color to finish the card.
Hope you liked this idea and give it a try for sure!
