Hello everyone! I am excited to share a cute little card with you that is inspired by our little fur-baby Kiara.

To make this card, I actually used the Tiger, Oh My! Die set from Spellbinders Die D Lites. Just by varying colors of the cardstock I was able to make this little critter look like our cat:

When I started making this card, I was a little overwhelmed by all the little pieces it had. So I did a little planning – I laid out each color of cardstock I was going to use, looked at Kiara’s picture for reference and planned out what cardstock color I needed to use for each part. That simplified things quite a bit. From then on I was able to compare the picture on the packaging and put the whole cat together.
I am planning this one to be a birthday card for a sweet little girl who loves Kiara. I found a already cut out circle piece of soft pink cardstock that I had ended up not using for one of the other projects and it fit the color scheme I had in mind. I ran it through my Platinum die cutting machine along with Fun Stampers Journey Birthday Bash embossing folder to give it that fun texture.
For the sentiment, I used Wild About You dies and black cardstock. I also added some Wink of Stella on top. Finally I trimmed a cardbase to be just slightly bigger than the circle and assembled everything. A few gems in Metallic Rose Gold jewels from Pretty Pink Posh completed this project.
What do you think?
