Okay, next card in the series of Thank-you cards is here. Ready for it?
I prepared 4 die cuts here – two ‘thanks’ words and two speech bubbles. I adhered the two ‘thanks’ words together using mod podge. Yes, this has become my go-to liquid glue these days. I am using a fine tip glue applicator in which I have filled mod podge and it is working like a charm for such small die cuts, sequins and other embellishments.
I adhered the two speech bubbles using foam tape and attached the thanks words on top using (again) mod podge.
Next I simply arranged this die cut layer on top of my cad base. All around it and in one of the corners, I stamped several leaf images and also added one sentiment saying, ‘i appreciate all that you do’.
I created this card during thanksgiving season for a friend and mentor at work, so kept it bling-less. {It was hard, really hard for this bling-loving girl, trust me!}.
This card design can be easily for girls or boys. Instead of leaves, you can have hearts or butterflies in different colors and make this for a completely different theme. Hope you give it a try!
