#UseYourCraftStash – Make Multiple – Cards with only stamps & heat embossing

Hi guys, are you ready for the next idea and tip?

Today’s tip:

When you are working on one type of card – heat embossing / foiling / fun fold – give yourself time to play a little. Give yourself time to understand the technique, grasp it, find out what works for you to make those kind of projects and get comfortable. Making one project today with a technique and then using that technique after days or weeks, will not build the same comfort level. So, I always recommend making multiple.

Today’s idea is pretty simple – Heat Embossing. I just added a fun twist of heat embossing on patterned papers. I find myself intimidated when pattern papers are too busy or too loud in their colors. So instead of just leaving them alone, I put them to good use by heat embossing on top and letting only the embossed design be the center of attraction. These pattern papers compliment the heat embossing beautifully and also save me a ton of time because I don’t have to color inside the heat embossed design or even make its background beautiful. I am starting out with a beautiful pattern and letting it do all the hard work for me!
