Hi friends, hope your weekend is filled with things you love to do 🙂
I was able to steal a few precious (late night) hours to work on this card today. I created this stamp set to give me a chance to practice loose watercoloring, or at least somewhat loose watercoloring. I didn’t do it as loose-ly as I’d have liked, but it surely got me started.
In crafting as in real life I often struggle with letting go of control. I have been a project manager in IT industry for so long that not-knowing, not being able to predict outcome of a project scares me. I am learning though and working my way through this. Art provides a fantastic opportunity to practice this. Like for today’s card – I let water do it’s thing in each petal. I let it move the pigment without trying to control it. So I think I am making progress 🙂
Alright, enough talking, let’s see the card now, ok?
