Did you see my story on Instagram the other day with black and white image of card? I hope you did. Today is the reveal of that card 🙂
Yes, it’s a colorful, vibrant card and I have used several different techniques in this one. Read on 🙂
Key Ingredients:
- Bird House stamp set (on VaradaSharma.com | on Etsy.com)
- Maker Forte Clouds Slimline stencil designed by me
- Maker Forte Grateful to You stamp set designed by me (for the sentiment)
- Coloring medium – watercolors or others as you like
- Tumbled Glass distress oxide ink
Steps:
- Use MS PowerPoint to plan, size and print images. For the birds I used same image, just sized them differently and flipped one of them horizontally.
- Color in all the images – I used Altenew watercolors for the bird house and some Gansai Tambi ones for the blue bird. For the yellow bird, I used Copics, because – why not? 🙂 Well, really because I like the coloring of my yellow Copics.
- Add details with a black fine liner pen and flower centers with a gold paint pen.
- Fussy cut or use an electronic cutting machine like Brother Scan and Cut to cut out the bid house.
- On a landscape A2 cardbase add clouds with the Clouds Slimline stencil and Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide ink.
- Adhere the bird house with flat adhesive and birds with foam tape.
- At last use MISTI to stamp the sentiment from Grateful to You stamp set and call it done.
