Hey everyone, this is Kanan from ifeelglee. Today I am going to share two cards using VaradaSharma Designs October 2021 release “Whole Lot of Awesome”. I am in love with this new release by Varada.

Here’s my first card which I made using the “Whole Lot Of Awesome” stamp set.

Card 1

1. I printed the floral image from the “Whole Lot Of Awesome” set on a 110 lb card stock.
2. I wanted to colour this image using shades of pink, yellow and green
3. I decided to use Distress Inks to colour it. I blended the inks directly on the floral image
4. I cut the image and adhered it using some dimension on a die cut panel.
5. The die cut panel has a slightly pearl kind of shimmer to it, which added lots of interest to this card.
6. Added the whole panel on a white card base and added clear drops.
7. Added some white dots using a gel pen.
8. I am planning to frame this card and so decided to keep it without sentiment.

Card 2

1. Again I used the same floral image from “Whole Lot Of Awesome” set
2. This time I blended the image using blue, purple and green Distress inks
3. Instead of using white or any neutral colour background I decided to use coloured card stock.
4. I diecut teal blue cardstock using Waffle Flower Crafts scallop die shape.
5. I adhered the image onto it with some dimension and added some gemstones.
6. Added some white dots using a gel pen.
7. I used only a portion of a sentiment from the same set.

I really love how these two cards turned out. Ink blending technique for colouring the images and choosing and mixing them with a unique coloured card base gives any project a totally new look.
