I used another pie ephemera piece from the same @pebblesinc set I have been using lately (it’s avery old set that came in a @simonsaysstamp card kit in October 2015! Yes, just over 9 years old!!). To go along with the pie theme, I created a fun half background on my card using a pie die from @teamspellbinders Oct 219 Small die of the month kit. I also used another older @teamspellbinders set Celebrate with Cake to add the flowers and leaves, and a relatively newer one for the hot foiled sentiment.

I hope you like the idea of creating a repeat pattern with die cuts to enhance your background – it’s subtle but adds a punch. And it is yet another way to get more use out of those supplies. #winwin
