Six & Three is NOT about hustle culture
Let me be clear about something:
This framework is NOT about:
❌ Doing more
❌ Hustling harder
❌ Claiming chaos as “normal”
❌ Optimizing every minute
❌ Productivity at all costs
You can run on adrenaline and chaos for a while. Maybe even enjoy it.
The rush of deadlines. The packed calendar. The “I’m so busy” badge of honor.
But here’s what I learned the hard way: You can’t sustain chaos without burning out.
Six & Three is about the opposite of hustle:
It’s about doing enough of the right things—not everything.
It’s about choosing 3 priorities—not chasing 20.
It’s about closing your day with reflection—not collapsing from exhaustion.
It’s about returning to center—not claiming burnout as normal.
Intentional living includes rest.
It includes saying no.
It includes white space on your calendar.
It includes choosing NOT to fill every moment.
Balance isn’t about equal time in all 6 life areas every single day. That would be exhausting.
Balance is about making sure nothing gets completely ignored for too long.
Balance is about knowing when to push and when to pause.
Balance is about sustainable rhythms, not constant output.
If Six & Three adds stress to your life, you’re doing it wrong.
The planner isn’t there to guilt you. It’s there to help you see patterns, make choices, and give yourself permission to focus on what actually matters.
Some days, “Quality of Life” means Netflix and rest. And that’s perfect.
Some weeks, you focus heavily on one area because that’s what needs attention. And that’s intentional.
This isn’t about doing more. It’s about living better.
What would change if you gave yourself permission to do less? 💚
This is part 4 of 5 in our Six & Three deep dive series.
