Hi guys, my good friend Kanan invited me to be a guest designer on her blog in celebration of the 10th anniversary of her crafting! It’s such an honor and a great pleasure. You can check out my post on her blog here:

As for the rest of the story, read on….
Recently two amazing crafters -Jennifer McGuire and Dawn from Wplus9 shared some absolutely gorgeous cards (their videos are linked below) and I had to put a little bit of my own spin on it. This is how I made my card and I love how it turned out.
Here’s a closer look, with the card in action 😉
I did make a video for this but if something seems too complicated, please comment and ask. I will be happy to share what I learned.
And in case you prefer written steps, here they are:
- Die cut all flowers and leaves.
- Ink blend and color on the flower petals and assemble the flowers
- Add debossing details on small flowers and assemble them.
- Assemble leaves.
- Create a top folding card base and partially die-cut an oval on the front. Trim away the sides so that the card front has only the narrow oval shape and nothing else.
- On the inside of the card base add interest with the Dotted Swirl die.
- Adhere flowers and leaves on the card front oval, having several of these elements hang off on the sides. This will create a unique card front, which is not any geometric shape.
- Add a white panel on the inside of the card right behind the oval front. This concealed panel will be for writing a personal message.
- Add a sentiment and some bling to finish off the project.
Enjoy!
