Clearly, I am playing catch up here – I ended up sharing so many cards on my Instagram lately and didn’t get around to posting them here.

So in this blog post, I am sharing two ideas to use with any of the large floral designs you might have already on hand.

For both of these, the idea is very simple.

• Create an A2 card as usual
• Create a card front with patterned paper and set it aside
• Create a separate panel that is about 0.5 inch larger than the A2 card either horizontally (blue card) or vertically (pink card)
• Heat emboss sentiment on the patterned paper and attach it to card front, leaving the gate panel open.
