Friendship card using ‘Whole Lot Of Awesome’ stamp set

Hi crafty friends! I hope your week is going alright. I have a friendship card to share with you all today using our latest stamp set “Whole Lot of Awesome”.

As usual I used PowerPoint to plan, size, and print the main image from ‘Whole Lot of Awesome’ stamp set. After cutting it out using Brother Scan N Cut, I colored it using Gansai Tambi watercolors and Studio 71 watercolor pencils. I also traced over the lines on the leaves and flower centers with a fine liner pen. Whhile coloring, I took advantage of the detailed lines on the flowers to add darker shades to those areas. While designing this stamp set, I wanted it to be colored like this 🙂 I might try a blue version of this or purple…. Let’s see 🙂

I also printed and trimmed my sentiments to go with the image.

For the background, I took a black cardstock panel and added gold foiling on top with Spellbinders Modern Lines Glimmer hot for plate.

Lastly, I assembled the card with foam tape and flat adhesive and sprinkled some sequins to finish it off.

That’s all for today. Hope you like it 🙂
