Sometimes we all need a little bit of encouragement, someone saying “Hang in there”, right?

I’m back today with a card that is simple but cute, and it’s all about sending a little extra encouragement to someone who might need it.

For this project, I decided to lean into one of my absolute favorite color combinations: yellow and blue! There is just something so bright and uplifting about these two colors together.

To get started, I added a subtle hint of stenciling on the background. I love doing this because it adds just the right amount of extra interest and texture to a clean, white card base without overwhelming the main design.

For the focal point, I decided to play around and mix things up by combining several different styles of die cuts. I used a mix of layered flowers and leaves alongside some non-layered elements, bringing everything together in the upper corner. I really love how the contrasting styles and dimensions play off each other!

To finish it all off, I stamped the perfect sentiment right along the edge of the floral arrangement: “Hang in there, friend.”
