Hi everyone! Today I’m sharing a pair of bright, uplifting cards designed to send a little extra love and encouragement to someone’s mailbox.

Creating the Background Panel

To make the process efficient, I started by blending a full 8.5″ x 11″ panel all at once. I used the 3-layer Geo Mod Stencil designed by Kristina Werner for Concord & 9th.

For the color palette, I chose three vibrant Concord & 9th ink shades:

• Honeysuckle
• Buttercup
• Sea Glass

Blending the entire sheet in one pass gave me two colorful, modern geometric patterns for A2 card fronts.

Assembly & Sentiments

Once the panels were finished, I trimmed it down to create card fronts with a neat, thin white border around all sides.

Pro-tip: Instead of throwing away the trimmed edges, I saved those small strips and adhered them to the inside of the cards for a cohesive finished look—#wastenotwantnot!

For the sentiments, I chose two encouraging quotes from Scrapbook.com’s Heartfelt Encouragement stamp set and stamped them using black ink from Simon Says Stamp:

1. “Difficult roads often lead to beautiful destinations.”
2. “Sometimes when things are falling apart, they may actually be falling into place.”

Finishing Touches

On the landscape card, I added a fun touch of contrast: three sequins in colors that match my inks, all my stash, but I deliberately placed them over non-matching ink colors so they pop even more.
