Elegant birthday card using Amazing Paper Grace die of the month for Feb 2020 from Spellbinders

Hi guys, hope your Saturday is going great! Finally, my girl is back to feeling better after a week of flu. We are about to get sucked into another period of hustle-bustle with a birthday party for younger princess and gotcha-day party for my fur baby. So in the in-between time, I decided to put together a card using the latest Amazing Paper Grace die of the month for Feb 2020 from Spellbinders.

All the papers I used are from DCWV Rose Quartz 12×12 paper pad – these were on sale at Joann recently and I just couldn’t resist them. :) We also used several of these papers to create class valentines for my 4th grader’s class (do check out my Instagram, you will find that that story in my highlights for Spellbinders). So totally value for money!

I followed the steps just like Becca Feeken showed in this video here, with some modifications. Instead of opening from side to side, I made it to open from top-bottom. Also, instead of the filigree dies and label dies from this kit I used the hexagonal dies from an older kit: APG Die Kit of the month – Nov 2019. Well, the patterned paper I used had pretty hexagons, so I had to … :D

I love all kinds of dies, especially interactive and floral dies from Becca Feeken. And this time’s dies have a couple pretty flowers too. I used all those + a couple leaf dies from older kit – APG April 2019 kit (on sale now!). I also used one swirl die from another older kit – Mar 2018 Large Die of the month kit.

On the inside, I stamped a sentiment from this month’s stamp set (included in Spellbinders card kit, also available for purchase separately, linked below). I used Simon Says Stamp Pale Blush Pink ink because it matches perfectly with the papers on my card.

That’s all. I am in love with how this turned out. I am linking to all the supplies below. This list and Becca’s video linked above should help you make something similar. I hope it inspires you to create and to share the love of crafting beautiful things.
