Table top wood sign using Spellbinders APG Dies April 2020

Hi everyone, there are some projects that you just can’t wait to share, right? Today’s project was just one of those projects for me. We are still trying to celebrate my husband’s birthday and making things to cheer him up every day. Unlike other years, where we would have a gala time with our friends for a day and be done, we are trying to make him feel special in different ways. So on his actual birthday, my girls and I baked him cupcakes and we all made pani-poori aka golgappe (a popular street food in India which he loves) …

Love / Wedding card with a peek-through words using Spellbinders – DOM April 2020

Hello everyone, I hope you all are doing good with the whole quarantine thing. I encourage you to use this time to catch up on your “some-day” lists, at least some items off of it. I encourage you to make time to play with your loved ones, to draw, scribble, write, sing, play a musical instrument, journal, cook, dance, do what you need to do to make yourself realize that all will be okay. Although it may feel like it sometimes, but you are not alone. And if you are out there helping save lives and keeping things safe for …

Happy Celebrations – Spellbinders – LDOM April 2020

Hi guys, how are you all doing? We are doing the best we can and seriously taking full advantage of the slow down to connect with each other, engage in meaningful conversations and as my younger one likes to call it, “get to know each other all over again”. I am ready to go back to office, but I am definitely not complaining about getting to stay safe at home during this time (and neither are Mr C and kids, btw). I am so grateful for my little group of humans + a fur baby in this house :) Today …

Using dies for hot foiling + felt flowers – with Spellbinders Amazing Paper Grace die of the month March 2020

Hello, hello!! Happy Friday!! You guys know I love Amazing Paper Grace dies by Becca Feeken, right? And also that I love to experiment with things and use them differently. That’s exactly what happened with today’s card: I trimmed a rectangle panel out of Neenah Desert Storm cardstock to be slightly smaller than a 5×7 card. On this panel, I hot foiled using the dies from Spellbinders Amazing Paper Grace die of the month March 2020. I used the Champagne colored foil from Spellbinders. Love how it looks on Kraft cardstock. Then I assembled the flowers – die cut using …

Bunny Birthday Wishes – using Spellbinders Large Die of the Month March 2020

Hi guys, I hope your week is going good so far and that you are ready for another card inspiration :) Last month I tried incorporating Felt in my paper crafting – card making projects and loved the outcome. Encouraged by that, I decided to dive in and make more of those. And this month’s Spellbinders Die Clubs were perfect for these cards, so it was definitely something the universe wanted me to go for {at least that’s what I told myself!}. For today’s card, I made a felt bunny (yes, blush pink!) and set up a little scene around …

Mother’s Day Flower Basket Card using Spellbinders Large Die of the Month

Another Felt project today guys. I hope you all are ready. We are making a Mother’s Day flower basket card using Spellbinders Large Die of the Month. I started by using one of the cards whose card front I had dry embossed with Bright Days embossing folder from Spellbinders + Fun Stampers Journey. Next I made a white panel the same size as the card front by cutting one of the card kit cards into two. In the middle of this I cut out the whole basket. This cut out the outline as well as the bottom and top half …

Hi friends, I have one more quick and easy crafty project to share today. And just like my last post, this one also uses the super fun and colorful journaling cards from this month’s Spellbinders Card kit. Yes, it is a mini accordion album. I used the white cardstock from this month’s card kit and cut it into half on the longer side. I scored it every 3.5 inches, which left 0.5 inch at the end on both pieces. I scored these in accordion style and used the 0.5 inch part on one of the pieces to attach the two …

I picked my cards, I picked the background patterned paper for it and embellishments (die cuts). Just four quick-ish cards. Modern card with stamped succulents using Spellbinders + Fun Stampers Journey Stamp of the Month Feb 2020

Hi friends, I am on a quest to try different colors, as well as techniques this year. So for the succulent / cactus stamp set from this month’s Spellbinders + Fun Stampers Journey Stamp of the Month kit, I decided to do something modern-looking. I know, it isn’t exactly my style, but as I said, I am into “new things” this year :) So, this is what I created: I created an inlaid colorful panel and stamped the images on and around these inlays. I die cut my front panel with the two largest rectangle dies from the Hemstitch rectangle …
